Hardware Resources

Hardware Resources is a franchise of ACE Hardware in Afghanistan. ACE Hardware is an American hardware store founded in 1924 with over 5,000 stores around the world, the majority of which are independently owned and operated by local entrepreneurs.

Hardware Resources started its operation in Kabul, Afghanistan early 2017.

I was contracted to create an appropriate logo and a complete brand identity for the store. After cycling through various concepts and meetings, I finally landed on the idea of combining symbols with a shield to give a general sense of the items that the store is selling, and the shield represents trust, safety, and strength.
